Exhibit 5- UCET Poster
I enjoyed creating this poster for the UCET conference. I enjoy seeing what I start out with and what it evolves to. I ended up creating 10 different designs. Each one was changed just a little from the one before. The one that I chose is this one that is number 8 of the 10. I wanted some repetition with the color and with the design on the logo so they all tied in together. There is the same color of red in each section of the poster, and it is the same color of red that is used on the UCET website. I changed the logo a little to go along with with years theme. I also used a grey divider line as part of my color scheme that is also used on the UCET website. Proximity wise I tried to group the information about the conference together and the theme together. I tried to match the fonts from the logo for the fonts that were used in the poster. I left a good amount of space on the left side of the poster in the red space to provide some negative space. I aligned the YOU on the left side where I did so the curved slash that goes through it leads the reader to the information about the conference.
- I used the UCET logo and added YOU to it to go along with this years theme.
- I used the colors that are used on the UCET website for relation and repetition.
- I divided the poster using the Golden Ratio
- I kept the same fonts used in the UCET logo
